D’Banj
is set to appear in court this month as Monday, March 30, 2015 has been
fixed for the case involving superstar singer, Dapo Oyebanjo and
Mindhub Technologies.
The singer is accused of owing the above company, through his DKM Media, some amount of money running into millions of Naira. D’Banj was said to have failed to pay back the money he collected from outfit.
The matter, which was earlier scheduled for January 2015, was adjourned following the industrial action embarked upon by judicial workers under the umbrella of JUSUN.
According to reports, D’Banj is prepared to defend himself in court on the matter at the Multi-door Courthouse in Obalende, Lagos.
There have been speculations that D’Banj is broke and that his fortunes are nose-diving. In 2014 when reports first hit the internet as regards the alleged debt case, D’Banj rubbished it.
