 The Vice Chancellor of Babcock University, Ilishan, Remo, Ogun State, Prof. J. A. Makinde, has commended Davido’s father, Deji Adeleke for heavily supporting the institution financially over time. The VC was peaking while presenting Davido’s certificate to him at the ongoing 13th convocation ceremony of the institution, with the music star’s father, who was sitting in the VIP area all the while, coming to the podium to take pictures with him while he received his certificate. During the presentation, the VC joked: ‘If you pay N200 million, you can be up here taking pictures with your son.’ Of course it was a joke but the words would seem to be true as Davido is the only graduating student that had the privilege of taking pictures with not just his dad but also the VC on the podium at the graduation ceremony.
